I am not a lawyer, just a French free software developper/contributor (happenning to work
at CEA, one of the 3 organizations authoring CeCILL), but I do hope that CeCILL would be
approved by OSI (in particular because some interesting free software, e.g.
perhaps SciLAB, is CeCILL licensed, and also because CeCILL is perhaps just the french
variant of GPL).
