Dear Pamela, Carlo, and the OSI community,
Thank you for your detailed feedback. As a 9-year-old developer, I am very excited to discuss the Milenium License 1.0 with you.
Regarding your comments:
1.
The Name: The name "Milenium" is a deliberate branding choice for my project and is not a misspelling.
2.
Section 4 (Proprietary Use): My intention was not to prohibit commercial use but to prevent the software from being turned into closed-source software. I understand that Section 3 (Copyleft) already covers this. I will revise or remove Section 4 to ensure it complies with OSD 6.
3.
Section 6 (Lineage and Copyright): I understand the concerns about reusability. I will modify this section so that other developers can use the license for their own projects while still maintaining a way to track the original software's lineage.
4.
Language Clarity: I will work on making the legal language more precise, including the definitions of "persons" and "public disclosure" as suggested.
I will prepare Milenium License 1.1 based on these professional insights.
Best regards, Yiğit Hamza Founder, Radio Tech's / Create The Developers
I really did my best using all the open-source resources I could find, but I’m still working on improving my skills. I’m really hoping to be accepted. I’m a 9-year-old developer.
