CouerDev:

Here's another potential issue with your license:

" Infectious Clause: If the Software is statically linked, dynamically
linked, embedded, packaged, or provided via network services in a way
that the resulting executable incorporates the Software's functionality,
the entire work is deemed a Derivative Work and must be open-sourced
under COL."

This is definitely pushing the limits of OSD9. The question is, does it
transgress those limits?

I get what you want here, but as you've seen expanding the limits of
copyleft is not something anyone can do casually, per the discussions
around the AGPL, CAL, and SSPL. At a certain point, you're asking
someone to relicense their entire developer stack just because Wei in
accounting used a check formatter under this license, and that's clearly
going to far. Finessing what's really a derivative or not -- and
whether licenses can cross an API boundary -- is a matter for extensive
discussion.

Also, given that this is clearly a Chinese license, is the canonical
language for the license Chinese?
