I've been using the term "use restriction", and "applies terms to data
simply processed by the program". We have established that the power of
contracts allows one to require performance regarding the data without this
being a specific "encumberance" upon the data. IMO this is mainly of
academic interest, terms regarding the data and data restrictions have very
similar effects.
