Most submitters are happy to have a clear answer from us sooner than
that.  You're the first person to object to getting a fast answer.  I
don't believe that "30 days" is intended as some kind of guaranteed
minimum.  It's there so that submitters know that we are not going to
turn around a decision in a week.

Really, this is up to the Chair, though.  She decides whether or not the
license is passed up to the board.  I overstepped myself a bit, although
by personal recommendation stands.

You do not need to respond to my email on my personal account; your
responses to the emails of other committee members are sufficient for me
to make up my mind on my vote.
