[License-discuss] Retracting: For Discussion: GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 with NonCommercial Exception

I am retracting my proposal for the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0
with NonCommercial Exception.

I would like to thank Bradley M. Kuhn for his detailed and insightful
response, which clarified the distinction between "additional permissions"
and "further restrictions" under AGPLv3 Section 7 Paragraph 4. I also
thank McCoy Smith for his response regarding OSI's policy on approving
"add-ons" to existing licenses. My apologies for the delayed reply — I
only just discovered that the list replies had been filtered into my spam
folder.

These responses have made it clear that the current proposal is not viable
within the AGPLv3 framework and would not be approvable by OSI.

I will take the time to read the materials provided and reconsider the
overall approach.
