My assumption is that if the list is split after recommend 60 days that the
board will vote on it anyway?  I would be surprised if there was anything
new to discuss or uncover by mid-November even if the list isn't
quiescent.... Not trying to be a pest about timeliness but this is a
relatively minor issue...and sufficiently rare that I don't think we need a
new process to govern naming.  Creating a new process seems like a long and
tedious can of worms not worth opening.

I guess you can put me in the process minimalist camp. :)
