Hi Bruce,
Thanks for your message. Yes, we changed our RAND mode, closed the old TC,
and opened a new TC called UOML-X TC under the new IPR mode.
Thanks for your advice on our Open Source License issue. Russ had sent me
couple of messages already, we will take his advice seriously, and see what
we can go from there. Thanks again.

Ms. Shi,
Do you mean that the standard is now using a Royalty Free and
Non-Discriminatory licensing policy? That would be excellent.
Although I am not one of the people who will be voting, It's difficult
for me to see how the UOML compliance term of the license can be
accepted under the rules for Open Source licensing. Some time ago, Russ
Nelson suggested that you use a trademark or certification mark to
enforce that particular provision, rather than the Open Source license.
That was good advice. And Russ is one of those who vote, so you should
take it seriously.
