[OFFTOPIC] Back to basics [Was:Re: Bruce Perens rejected from license-proliferation committee.]

I put offtopic because this message is a quite far from the central 
discuss about Rejection of Bruce:

When I decided to start OSILA, I never thought that could be so 
difficult to spread the OSS Movement
in my region. We have a lot of difficulties because of some radicals of 
Free Software Movements, whom trying
to stop any project not aproved by RMS.Local Open Source Enterprises  
(Like Red Hat and Novell are still
sleeping here, with no real connection with Technical local comm). But  
we are trying to continue in spite of
the difficulties.

Why I talk about it. So, simple. When I see that "Non license 
proliferation" are too much rejected from some people
whom doesnt understand that this iniciative will help us in the future, 
I felt to sad about it. When I read that Bruce
was rejected, (Remembering the Mithology, when the Titans eats the 
Gods), I feel worst. Probably I'm wrong but
I think that we have a crisis period inide OSI movement about this 
tasks. And in this regions, the things are so difficult
to spread, and we see this kind of problems in the "core country" of 
this project, sometimes Yoy can feel bad.

I was working in community for six years. I was a GNU Follower before 
enter in the "real world software" and I understood
that OSI concept is the correct pathway to freedom, leavning up fighting 
from a "Saint War", going to fight a "Competition War"
to spread "reality", not dreams.

Like a little member of comm, I think that we must go back to basics. 
Reject to  Bruce from the project is "stupid". And it is stupid, not
about the reputation of Bruce, Its about to get the advantages from his 
experiece about license, and his work through the years.

Reject the Non License Proliferation Discussion is stupid, too.If we 
began to think this work,not for us, working for each other, we will 
understand that it is the better choice.
But sometimes its seems that we forget  the problem behind the  
proliferation.  And sometimes we can think that "have enough people to work"
doesnt means "have enough capable people, to do it".

If we want to spread our ideas, we must stop this little things that 
take us to crisis.From my point of view Bruce must stay in LPdiscuss and 
we must
collaborate with LPDiscuss as far as we can.
