Russell Nelson dixit:

>What purpose does a license serve if nobody uses it?

It has been used. So there is code around under that licence.
You want to retroactively remove the mark from the code,
even rendering pristine redistribution of old sources illigitim,
let alone people picking this up later.

You don't know when stuff will be picked up again.
I'm currently using AT&T nroff (under the 2002 Caldera Licence)
instead of GNU groff, and hope to get ditroff/psroff in soon.
If there's a certification with it, it'd be nice to keep it.
