However insane this is, it makes some sense. I assumed it being work for hire it would follow the same rule, and I was obviously wrong.
On the Berne Convention, I could be wrong as well, but it being a copyright union, it should work ubiquitously in the same way, at least on the generalities (obtain the right, not obtain the right). But we are (I am) digressing.
