I think your concerns regarding MG0-2.0 may potentially be incompatible with OSD-6:
MG0-2.0:
2.4 (b) You may Distribute the Output to third parties provided that You indicate as part of the Distribution that any Output generated through the use of the Licensed Materials and/or Derivative Materials may contain AI-generated content. ….
OSD-6:
The license must not restrict anyone from making use of the program in a specific field of endeavor. For example, it may not restrict the program from being used in a business, or from being used for genetic research.
From my personal view, the AI-generated content clause does not restrict the field of endeavor; rather, it serves as a statement of attribution (AI and developer). I also do not intend to enforce model developers to add watermarks to model outputs, as this is not in line with common practice. While the misuse of AI-generated content for fraud is becoming increasingly problematic, MG0 does not explicitly prohibit it. Instead, users can just indicate that the content is AI-generated in the dataset README or model card.

> While in many instances the “sublicensable” element might offset most of the limitations that “non-transferable” would impose, this may not necessarily hold in every jurisdiction. In addition, the phrasing itself appears ambiguous, raising concerns about legal uncertainty. This clause could potentially cause complications, for example, when a company or business is being sold or transferred.
Thank you for your review. This may be an issue left over from my previous version, where I mistakenly referenced the AI2 ImpACT licenses, which are not actually reusable licenses. I will amend it with verification from lawyers.
Best,
