Hi Pam,

It depends on how the display is generated. It is possible to display the
results of running the program without ever implicating the CAL. So while I
agree that the display of the program's interface could sometimes implicate
the CAL, it is dependent upon the implementation of the program. I think I
might have mentioned this before, but imagine a CAL-licensed text editor.
If you were create your website using the editor, the CAL would not apply,
and you would have no requirements imposed by the CAL. This would in fact
be a private use as defined.

Therefore, I again note that the question requires analysis of specific
implementation facts in order to fully analyze.
