In addition, the BSD crowd will *also* not touch that code, because
it’s, well, copyleft. We’d provide source code of course, but won’t
be happy with the rest.

So, in effect, it’s probably useless to both the copycentre and co‐
pyleft factions, plus creates its own island if not GPL-compatible.
