Thanks. I've raised the patent issue with the board, though without
prejudging the question of whether a new committee is the right answer
(it's not a bad idea, of course).

But please note that the board is focused on the upcoming director
elections right now, which require even more attention than in the past
because it's the first time the new Affiliate orgs are involved, so my
guess is there won't be action on patent policy until after that.
