-1. Explicit exclusion of patents is not the same as saying nothing/very
little, as others have pointed out.

Being fairly new round here, I don't know how much OSI feels it needs to
go along with previous precedents set, or how much I can justify this
position from the OSD, but to my mind, in this day and age, any
newly-approved open source license needs a patent grant.
