The discussion ended with some comments to the
effect that the issue of removing restrictions from
an approved license needed to be addressed.

There are multiple versions of this language achieving the
same effort.  At least libgcc and GCC's language run-times
have similar language.

I came away with the impression that the RTEMS license
was OK but there needed to be some language defined to
cover this type of situation.

At least that's my recollection.
