Well, I guess we're at an impasse, then. We've offered you a license
similar in effect to the MirOS License, and told you that the MirOS
license is too similar to multiple existing licenses, but you refuse
to work with us. What should we do? Approve your license? LOTS and
LOTS of people have told us not to do that. Basically, you're
out-voted.
If you simply cannot live with any existing license, then I suggest
that you convince lots and lots of people that they, too, cannot live
without your license. Once you've done that, come back to us, and
given lots of community support for your license, that will speak to
us.
Note: I'm just one board member and my opinion doesn't necessarily
carry the day. Even the entire license review committee's opinion
doesn't necessarily carry the day. The MirOS License will go before
the board for a vote. The license review committee members' opinions
carry a lot of weight and the balance is against you.
