Larry is he lawyer who wrote the OSL, which you derived from. He says 
that you can use the "exception" form. You didn't get any serious legal 
review yourself, so IMO you should consider that he really might be right.

I am not concerned with protecting license writers from their own 
foolishness. I am concerned with protecting the _community_ of 
_developers_ who might use the license and reap unintended consequences 
from the foolishness of amateur license-writers. Given that there are 
significant free legal resources available to Open Source developers 
today, Nobody should submit a license that has not received a formal 
legal review. "My friend who's a lawyer thought it was a good idea" just 
doesn't cut it.
