Good to see that I'm not the only one making this argument. I made the
same argument this week

With the necessary caveats, of course: It'd be better if these AI were
Open Source AI, as defined. Most importantly, provided this whole thing
works as promised, since it's too early to tell if the machines are
capable of maintaining the code generated by themselves.
