That was actually one of the two things I wanted to discuss, so I don't 
think it's a veer.

The other is whether going beyond "inbound == outbound" in the license 
is a good idea in terms of contributor policy.  But I don't think we 
have the right people on this thread to discuss that aspect.

In neither case is there an OSD violation *unless* the contributor 
clauses specifically create an asymmetry.
