I know you're bothered that more people don't use the OSL. However, the proposals we've been seeing like the SSPL go far beyond the restrictions of the OSL, to encumbering software used in combination with the licensed software to offer a service, but clearly not a derivative work at all.
It seems to me that if they believed that OSL or AGPL were sufficient to their needs, that they'd happily use them. We did see an explanation of why AGPL was not adequate. It seemed to me that the same explanation would apply to OSL.
