Projects which do not have not a mixed audience tent to ignore the issues 
or have none at all. So the forums reflect this.

Project with commercial, open source and propriarity mixed deployment 
really care. But often enough the issues are solved in private email or 
developer email lists. Thats not much obvious.

But agreed. OpenSource is intented to share, modify and mix with other 
code. A description how to best acomplish that and which licensed can be 
mixed well and which not is seriously lacking or spread over the web.

A table on the OSI web site showing compatibility of licenses would be 
a very welcome project (if it is in this way possible).
