IANAL, but I read this as:

Any license which does not either cause otherwise cause one to violate the
terms of the license is compatible.  This does not seem to impose any
limitations on how you can enforce your own copyrights but if you use MS-PL
code, you would have to abide by the license and except covered elements
from your protection.

However, the one non-clear area is how does the license affect non-literal
elements of the software.  For example, graphical design, storylines of
games, and the like.
