OSL 3.0: informing licensees of their rights

That's a good point.  Thanks to the spread of code with decent
licenses, people are learning to check whether the license is decent.

However, one good feature of the OSL is that it applies to other types
of copyrightable works, such as books.  Very few people imagine that
books could also be open source, and so will not think to ask about
the license.  They will instead assume it's the usual "nothing
is allowed, maybe not even fair use."
