The OSI is concerned with promoting the sharing of software and building
communities around that software. There are any number of licenses that
pass the OSD but do not succeed in building a community. Assymetry in
the relationship defined by the license is a major cause of this
failure. It seems to me that OSI should go on approving such licenses,
but they should not be in the set of licenses that OSI recommends for
use by others.
