Having taken to heart some of the comments on my WSOSL 1.0 which were 
posted to this mailing list a few days ago, I now present to you a 
somewhat modified version.

The full text of the WSOSL 1.1 follows; if you're looking for the rest 
of the stuff that's supposed to be in a proper "for approval" posting,
