My *copy* of a BSD licensed program is open source. Your *copy* might
not be. The OSD does not require that each and every instance of a
program, in perpetuity, be open source. Only the copy in question
counts.

If your copy meets the OSD, then it is genuine Open Source, so don't
worry about that other copy down the street.
