At least some countries are saying AI outputs are copyrightable; the UK
for example:
https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/copyright-and-artificial-intelligence/copyright-and-artificial-intelligence
So you could impose license obligations on the output of an AI tool, at
least in some places. In the USA, likely not although that's still an
issue of dispute within the courts.
