[License-review] CERN Open Hardware Licence v2

Dear all,

As some of you know, we have published version 2 of the CERN Open
Hardware Licence [1] this year. This is the joint work of Myriam Ayass,
Andrew Katz and myself, with input from many others.

Andrew is about to post a request to review the CERN OHL v2 suite, which
is composed of three variants: a strongly-reciprocal one, a
weakly-reciprocal one and a permissive one. I am authorised to post here
on behalf of CERN, the steward of the licence, and so is Andrew.

We would like, if possible, to have the three variants reviewed
together, because they all share the same language and quite some text,
and because we have drafted them together to make sure we adequately
cover the three most popular sharing regimes in Open Hardware.

I lead the Hardware & Timing section in CERN's Accelerator Controls
group. Andrew will be much better than me for any legal questions, but
I'll be happy to participate in the discussion if my perspective as an
engineer/physicist and my Open Hardware background can be helpful.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Javier
