To be blunt: none that I can think of.

This was a pragmatic way for us within the Eclipse community to solve
the issue of projects asking to be dual-licensed EPL+BSD to allow GPL
compatibility(*). Which meant that we were introducing permissive
licensing where we may otherwise have not wanted to. Not every decision
that gets made is perfectly rational, and the Eclipse Foundation Board
of Directors has always had an allergic reaction to the GPL. So this is
a licensing solution to a political issue.

Hopefully that's not too candid :)

(*) For those who do not know, the Eclipse Foundation does host projects
using licenses other than straight EPL. Over 20% of our projects are
dual-licensed (EPL+*), or using another license such as MIT, BSD or
Apache. There are no projects which are GPL, or even dual-licensed
EPL+GPL. Any request by a project to use a license scheme other than
solely the EPL must be unanimously approved by the Eclipse Foundation
Board of Directors.
