Colleagues,
I assume that you actually read the link that Brent Turner attached
<https://github.com/HXRL/Prime-III> to his congratulatory email about this
GPLv3 election software from Dr. Juan Gilbert's team. You can follow that
link to https://github.com/HXRL/Prime-III/blob/master/ReadMe.pdf. Look at
the "Acknowledgements" section on page 7. Therefore I'll let Josh Berkus
have the last word in this thread. /Larry

If you are naming this software to argue that OSET's specific license
innovations are not required for adoption of elections software, then we'd
need to see adoption of the GPLv3 software by major government entities
and/or vendors. That would be interesting, and relevant to the discussion
of the OSET license, since it would have some bearing on the license text
itself.
