Hey Gareth,
I'm relatively new to this mailing list (so I hope I'm not overstepping my
bounds by replying – I'm still learning the etiquette), but this mailing
list is for those who have newly-created licenses that they'd like to be
approved by the OSI as "open source".

You're more than welcome to license and distribute your software using any
licensing strategy that you'd like, no approval process or permission
necessary. Let me know if you have any questions or if I've misunderstood
your email, but it sounds like you're good to go with what you have.
