[License-review] Approval request for a New MIT license

Hello Thorsten,

I am not sure I understood entirely your message below, but we want to apply for a new MIT open source license for our SDKs (software development kit). So it does apply to software, and as per our research, most ( if not all) companies in the same domain, who provide the SDKs, open source the software using an MIT license. We just want to do the same.

If there a specific concern / question that I could answer , please let me know a bit more in detail, and I will try to answer as best as I can.

This looks pretty close to The MirOS Licence (OSI approved), except for the regression that it is only applicable to software.

You could possibly exchange the disclaimer on that. (In Germany, you cannot disclaim malicious intent or gross negligence, which is why it’s excluded here.) Maybe changing the disclaimer doesn’t need explicit approval.
