Open_Database_License and OSM contributor terms

Hi,
I have some questions about the ODBL
http://www.opendatacommons.org/licenses/odbl/

being proposed by the OSM:
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Open_Database_License

along with the contributor terms:
http://www.osmfoundation.org/wiki/License/Contributor_Terms

has anyone reviewed them? will they become a OSI supported license,
have they be submitted for review?

My concerns are that they are not compatible with creative commons
sharealike, and to be honest, I don't understand the license fully.

any comments on these licenses and contracts?
