Well, I'm not involved in this whole process besides having put
forward a licence of my own; but it sounds from my limited experience
that the cases you're dealing with are different enough from the
"standard licences" that there's merit to a new licence. (Although I
have to admit that thinking though the ramifications of how the source
may be modified and embedded in a closed-source program makes my brain
hurt a little.) I'm interested to hear the opinions of others here.
