Dear Kenneth,

You may have been under the impression that I was saying anything about
the fact that the license is incompatible with the GPL. Actually I
wasn't, I said that I am not sure that it was, as in "I am not sure I
understand X". Sorry for not being clearer.

My concern was that, in addition to not caring much about compatibility,
there was some "GPL is against innovation" blurb in your message with
which I wasn't comfortable.

I seem to remember that somebody made reference to the "advertisement"
clause in the 4-clauses BSD and the fact that this specific clause is
incompatible with the GPL. It did not come from me though, and I have
not investigated on whether your attribution text is any close to the
advertisement clause.
