<p class=MsoNormal>The Legal Drafting Committee of the Open Web Foundation
("OWF") has announced publication of the OWF Contributor License
Agreement (CLA 1.0) and the Final Specification License (OWFa 1.0).<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class=MsoNormal>These licenses are for specifications that are implemented
and used in computer software. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>CLA 1.0 and OWFa 1.0 support community efforts to write and
implement software specifications that are based on contributions of
intellectual property from copyright and patent owners. Open web specifications
are intended to be compatible with both open source and proprietary software licensing
models, and they enable a commons of software that creates our networked world.<o:p></o:p></p>
