GPL + BSD + Perl

Hi
I want to license my code under GPL but since it is written in Perl it uses
modules that are licensed as "under the same terms as Perl itself." which is
the Artistic License. I think that they are compatible licenses so I may
license my part of the code as GPL.
Have I got it right or am I missing something?
