The problem with hypotheticals like this is that they need accurate
legal answers. You will not get a binding legal answer here, and I
doubt that anyone with the legal skills would comment without seeing the
whole licence.

Emails are not formal business letters, whatever businesses may want.
RFC1855 says there should be an address here, but, in a world of spam,
that is no longer good advice, as archive address hiding may not work.
