I'm a longtime admirer of both CentOS and Scientific Linux (the latter for
HPC cluster deployments), but knowing that you're running literal RHEL
does factually eliminate some QA (and potential security) variables --
i.e., assurance of product identity and conformance -- and who am I to
say RH's price is too high to cover the value of that plus paid support
plus (some) access to RH Engineering?
