Automatic GPL termination

No: if indirect users were sublicensees, their rights would immediately
disappear along with the distributor license termination.

With the termination, the indirect GPL licences returns to the state they
should have been since the beginning: from the authors directly to users.
Distributors are not allowed to add or remove conditions.

There's NO sublicensing in the GPL. And this is a BIG difference. The result
is definitely NOT the same. This minimizes the damages for other users. All
the damages are then to be supported by the distributor even after if
licence termination.
