Not impossible, just difficult. At worst you copy down what the secure
terminal shows onto paper and then type it in yourself. In the U.S., at
least, security is a personal obligation of people entrusted with secrets;
with the partial exception of nuclear technology, anyone who has not
been entrusted with a secret but has it anyway is free to publish it.
The person who gave it to them is civilly and criminally liable, but
not the recipient. (IANAL, TI definitely NLA -- things may have changed
under the current regime.)
