Why are you dragging FreeBSD into this?  I submitted the license under
the name "Simplified BSD License".  I never suggested calling it the
"FreeBSD License".  I am not acting on behalf of the FreeBSD project.
The FreeBSD project uses it (with minor variations in wording) as its
compilation license, but it is not the only project to use it, nor is
it the first (I believe OpenBSD, at least, used it before FreeBSD, and
on actual source code).

Would you suggest renaming the GPL the "KDE License" because the KDE
project uses it?  How do you think the Gnome people (not to mention
the GNU people) would feel about that?
