List traffic gets delivered to a moderated address at amazon; some  
time later (seems to be about a day later, on average) a human  
processes it and generates the automated bounces.  There would be a  
delay between the time that Russ removed the amazon store address and  
all of the prior list traffic being cleared out, unfortunately.

People should probably ping <postmaster at opensource.org> and/or the  
Amazon.com support address (they claim to also read  
<postmaster at amazon.com> but I've never seen a response; I had to send  
traffic to the domain WHOIS contact addresses) to get more  
information, off-list.
