Your MP3 example is poor, because one would only expect the notice
at power on and branding, copyright notices and elaborate splash
screens are already common on powerup.
This, however is not a good place for questions about the GPL as its
drafters have no commitment to monitor here.

RFC1855 says there should be an address here, but, in a world of spam,
that is no longer good advice, as archive address hiding may not work.
