Indeed. The FSF went to great lengths to ensure that v3 was credible,
and has apparently succeeded. If OSI doesn't approve it, people will
question OSI, not FSF/v3. (When I've mentioned today's discussion in
IRC, the universal reaction has been 'you mean OSI hasn't already
approved it?')
