Are you kidding? The 'worst case' happen all the time in this industry,
whether you're talking about licenses, non-disclosures, non-competes,
contracts, or any other legal instrument. There is no shortage of
persons (individual or corporate) acting in bad-faith.
None of this is meant to imply that the proposers of this license were
acting in bad faith, but pointing out that the grant-back provisions in
the OVPL were ripe for abuse was entirely legitimate.
