copyright nag screens

Hi,

I've put a nag screen stating the copyright in my virtual machine. It says: "Copyright 
2000-2005 SuperWaba - Community GPL version".

Two questions:

1. Is people allowed to build/distribute a new vm without the nag screen?

2. Does section 2c also applies to the runtime binaries of a virtual machine?

There's a LGPL version (released under a fee) that doesnt has the nag.
