I am pleased to note that Macromedia, Inc., has determined that the existing Common Public License is an appropriate license for release of our research and development projects.  Thanks to all on this list who contributed to the discussion and helped us understand the merits of the CPL.
 
Macromedia, Inc., withdraws its request to have the Macromedia Public License certified as OSI-compliant.
